Cleaning your Windows registry - Fix WIndows BlueScreen Problems.

You are one of those facing the Vista Blue Screen error day in and day out? That could be really coming in the way of your productivity - what with a Blue Screen popping up every now and then with a system message that says Windows will be re-started to prevent system damage and the system shutting down or rebooting.

You can follow one or all of the following five ways to fix this Vista Blue Screen error once and for all.

1. Cleaning your Windows registry (which is a list of info regarding the software, hardware etc related to your computer). This list typically gets surplus and unnecessary entries over a period of time. To clean this manually is a tough task and you could end up removing critical entries. Registry cleaners are programs designed to clean registries fast and with a minimum of fuss.

2. Check for software conflict - when two software show a conflict with each other Vista Blue Screen error can be triggered. Removing one of them will pave the way for smooth running of your system.

3. Using the "Repair your Windows" option - You could try putting the Vista DVD in the drive, get the booting done through it (by making some changes in the BIOS) and in the sequence that follows instead of allowing the DVD to install you can click on "Repair your Computer" option - Start-up Repair under the System Recovery.

4. Read analyzing the error message shown on the blue screen of death - You can begin by turning off "Automatic restart on fatal error" so that after the message appears the system will not re-start but will show the message to read up the details. After the STOP message there are numbers and a message in CAPS along side like MISSING HAL.DLL etc. By using these as search parameters you could search online to see if Microsoft itself has patches for these errors.

5. Extracting Key windows Files - There could be a Malware infection that is causing the Vista Blue Screen error. It could infect six of the core system files of Windows. You could replace the files explorer.exe, lsass.exe, services.exe, svchost.exe, spoolsv.exe and winlogon.exe and then reboot your system.

By doing the above steps you should be able to recover from the Vista BSOD error. For more details about registry cleaners and other methods just click on the following link.
